Police detains hundreds in Russia as people in major cities protest against corruption. VIDEO

Protesters have been detained by riot police in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The most recent data say 120 persons were detained in Moscow during protests against corruption among Russian authorities that are taking place across Russia on June 12.

In St. Petersburg, OMON (riot police) surrounded the participants of the anti-corruption demonstration at Marsovoe Pole, causing stampede. As reported by Bumaga news outlet, up to 150 people have been detained.
