Ukrainian soldiers hold ground in Mariupol sector repelling attacks of Russia-backed militants. VIDEO

Combined Russian and separatist troops violate the cease-fire deal near Mariupol on the regular basis. The invaders carry out armed provocations every day extensively using artillery with calibers exceeding 100 mm, banned by the Minsk agreements.

As reported by Censor.NET citing the Defense Ministry-run TV channel, it was relatively calm along the coast of the Sea of Azov on Easter. However, the lull did not last long and the attacks subsequently resumed. Ukrainian military confidently hold the line and are ready to give a fitting rebuff to the aggressor.

"They attack us either in the morning or at dawn," a soldier said adding that the Ukrainian troops are occasionally forced to fire in response.
