"50 degrees below zero, snow-covered runway and no ground navigation," - Ukrainian pilots perform NATO's special operation in Arctic. VIDEO

Ukrainian pilots turned out to be the only crew in the world capable of performing NATO's special operation in the Arctic.

As reported by Censor.NET citing TSN, working for more than four weeks in extreme weather conditions, they were virtually saving the Danish military base in the north of Greenland from freezing. The base had run out of fuel. The Danes tried to solve the issue on their own, but the aircraft engines failed. Canadian aviators managed to make one flight. However, Ukrainian pilots were the most successful in performing tasks in 50-degree Celsius frost.

"We transported more than 720,000 tons of aviation fuel to the station. It's about 120 flying hours," said Oleksandr Kulibaba, the head of the mission.
