Nazar was returning home from the art school classes when he found a grenade in a yard. The munition exploded in his hands.

He was accompanied by his 10-year-old friend Dima. Due to safety lessons at school, Dima knew the danger of a munition and tried to convince his friend not to touch the grenade. However, Nazar did not listen to his friend.

"He started to spin it up, because he thought it was a lighter. I warned him, I told him it was a grenade. But he still wanted to pull the check to see the fire. I turned away and left quickly. And the grenade exploded in his hands," Dima said.

A total of 11 children suffered (five killed and six injured) as a result of careless handling of explosive objects since the beginning of the war in the Donetsk region in 2014.Источник: https://censor.net.ua/en/v431570
