Censor.NET reports citing a statement by Krymskі Polіtviaznі (Crimea's political prisoners) Facebook group.
"The search is being conducted in the office of lawyers Emil Kurbedinov and Edem Semedliaev. Emil and Edem were detained in Bakhchysarai. The lawyers' office is situated at Vorovskoho Street in Simferopol (right in front of the Kyiv district court of Simferopol)," the statement reads.
Lawyer Emil Kurbedinov was reportedly detained by the traffic police.
Lawyer Nikolai Polozov also confirmed Kurbedinov's detention: "Lawyer Emil Kurbedinov has just been detained in Crimea! They are taking him to the FSB. It's open season on lawyers on the peninsula."
Polozov earlier said that FSB investigators threatened to forcibly bring him to the Crimean Directorate of the FSB for an interview. He was actually detained by members of the FSB on Jan. 25, 2017 and taken to the agency's directorate for an interview
As reported, Polozov is currently representing Crimean Tatars Ilmi Umerov and Ahtem Chiygoz in the Russian court.
