"The silence is disturbing. Even 'Makhmud' is not firing today. He always starts in the morning," - Ukrainian paratroopers in Avdiivka's industrial area. VIDEO

Last night was the first one in the past three months that passed in absolute silence - no shelling or assaults by Russian sabotage groups were recorded.

As reported by Censor.NET citing TSN, the shelling stopped at midnight and resumed at daylight.

"When they are firing, it feels more comfortable. But this morning, even 'Makhmud' [militant rifleman -ed.] is not firing. He always says 'Good morning,' and it's absolute silence today," one of the paratroopers says.
