"It's quiet. We can see militants well but cannot not reach them with machine guns," - Ukrainian soldiers near Luhanske village. VIDEO

Pro-Russian militants have increased their activities near Luhanske village, the Donetsk region, over the past two days.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Podrobnosti, skirmishes with terrorists and shelling of Ukrainian positions take place only at night. During the day, Ukrainian military have a possibility to rest and get ready for the next night.

"We can see they are accumulating armored vehicles - IFVs and tanks. Earlier, we saw no tanks. Now we can hear the roar and see the tanks visually," Ukrainian fighter, call sign Shaitan says.
As long as Ukraine has withdrawn much of its equipment under the Minsk agreements, tank drivers have to learn how to drive IFVs, for no tanks are allowed at the front line. For this purpose, Ukrainian army employs instructors that teach former tankmen to operate smaller machines, the story reports.
