 "Defendants try to disrupt almost every hearing," - prosecutor in trial of Tornado Company soldiers. VIDEO

Ex-servicemen of Tornado Company, who are tried by the Obolonskyi district court of Kyiv, are threatening judges and prosecutors during almost every hearing, pouring green-colored disinfectant, sour milk, and sewage disposals over them.

Military prosecutor Ruslan Kravchenko told Censor.NET.

"The defendants disrupt almost every hearing as they realize inevitability of the punishment for the crimes they have committed. They threaten us, judges, and other participants of the trial, throw various objects, pour different liquids such as green-colored disinfectant, sour milk and sewage disposals over us. The same happened at today's hearing," Ruslan Kravchenko said.

Sudova vlada Ukrainy (Ukraine's judicial power) website earlier posted the footage of the court hearing which took place Aug. 19, 2015. It shows the accused pouring a brown fluid from a bottle over the prosecutor and people carrying umbrellas standing near him.

"The people with umbrellas near the prosecutor on the video are police officers," Ruslan Kravchenko explained.

As reported, the Obolonskyi district court of Kyiv hears the case of ex-soldiers of Interior Ministry's Special Operations Forces Tornado Company: ex-Company Commander Ruslan Onyshchenko and his subordinates Demchuk, Ivashov, Svirydov, Kust, Shevchenko, Hliebov, and Halchuk. They are charged with creating a crime ring involved in a number of grave crimes. According to Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatolii Matios, the Company soldiers abducted civilians, tortured and raped them.
