SBU prevented terrorist attacks on Kharkiv military enlistment office and a cafe - Lubkivskyi. PHOTOS+VIDEO

Security Service of Ukraine disrupted the terrorist attack against the joint military enlistment office of Kyiv and Moscow neighborhoods of Kharkiv city, as well as one of cafes in Kharkiv.

SBU Chairman's adviser Markiian Lubkivskyi wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"The SBU officers in conjunction with the Alpha special forces team detained two saboteurs born in 1984 and 1989 who planned to set off an explosive device in military enlistment office and bombard it with Molotov cocktails together with a coffeehouse, popular among Kharkiv residents, on the night of Feb. 7," he wrote.

"The explosive device which was intended for planting was made using chemicals and a large amount of metal parts to increase the area and power of destruction," Lubkivskyi wrote.

"We have also conclusively found that the attackers received instructions from their coordinator, a representative of the Russian special services, situated in Crimea (!). The criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Article 15 and Part 1 of Article 258 (attempt to commit an act of terrorism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine were initiated against the detainees. The investigative actions are underway," adviser to the head of the SBU summed up.
