The Italian law enforcement agency arrested villas in Sardinia that belong to Arkadii Rotenberg as well as a hotel in Rome he owns in connection with the sanctions of the European Union against Russia.

Corriere della Sera writes about it, Censor.NET reports citing epravda.com.ua

As reported, this refers to an apartment and a villa in Cagliari (the capital of Sardinia), two villas in Arzachena (Sardinia), a villa in Tarquinia (Lazio Region) and a hotel in the center of Rome.

The newspaper estimates their total cost to be worth of 30 million euro and claims that Rotenberg acquired this property through the company, which the businessman owns abroad.

According to the news media, the Italian authorities have notified Rotenberg and his company Olpon Investment Limited registered on Cyprus and Aurora 31, which owns the Berg Luxury Hotel in Rome, of the arrest of the real estate.
