Russian sniper detained by Security Service of Ukraine told of prices for Ukrainians’ lives. VIDEO


A citizen of Russian Federation was detained on a railway station of Kharkiv during his attempt to cross the Russia-Ukraine border.

Censor.NET reports citing the press office of the Security Service of Ukraine. It was found that the 39-year-old Russian citizen is a sniper and had taken part in military operations in the Chechen Republic.

Being questioned by investigators of the Security Service, the detainee confessed that following the order of Russian special service he headed to the eastern regions of Ukraine to enroll in illegal military troops. Before departing to Ukraine, he was instructed in details in Rostov-on-Don.

He should have received a reward for his job: $ 100 for murder of a Ukrainian soldier, $1000 for an officer, and an extra EUR 2,000 upon the return. At the moment, the foreigner is held under arrest. The investigation continues. The Security Service of Ukraine has included the information about his crime, stipulated by part 1, art.114 of Criminal Code of Ukraine, into the Unified Register of prejudicial inquiries. Earlier, Censor.NET reported that the Security Service had detained a Russian gang which intended to explode a bridge in the Dripropetrovsk region.
