SBU Head Vasyl Hrytsak said in a written response to a request by MP Dmytro Yarosh, Censor.NET reports.
"As for the statements by Ukrainian citizen Pinchuk, a corresponding semantic and textual examination has been ordered," the letter reads.
The check comes as part of a case opened under a number of Criminal Code articles, namely the encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, establishment of a terrorist group or a terrorist organization, and financing of terrorism.
"I've received an SBU's interim answer concerning the hostile and anti-government statements by comprador parasite Pinchuk... We'll push for the issue. Down with oligarchs!" Yarosh said on Facebook.
Earlier, Pinchuk wrote in his article for The Wall Street Journal that Ukraine should hold elections in the Donbas and give up its intentions to join EU and NATO.
