Poroshenko dwelt on the developments in eastern Ukraine where shelling and armed provocations by Russian proxies are constantly recorded despite the recently declared cease-fire.
The parties stressed the importance of maximum international support for the Ukraine-submitted UN resolution on the situation with human rights in occupied Crimea that continues to deteriorate.

Poroshenko also noted the importance of diaspora's support in the issues of Ukrainians' visa-free travel to the EU and ratification of the EU-Ukraine association deal.
The president of the Ukrainian World Congress offered reassurance of diaspora's unwavering support for the restoration of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, including Crimea, as well as the fight against Russia's aggression and the reform process which has started showing significant results.
