50 Ukrainian military personnel and 150 children, including the children of fighters who died in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area, wounded soldiers and internally displaced persons have completed rehabilitation and recreation in Croatia.

Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Defense Ministry.

"Five hundred Ukrainians visited Croatia as part of my humanitarian action! They have seen how people live in Europe and how they treat others. It was very important for me because every trip expands a person's mindset," the organizer of the action, famous Croatian football player Ivica Piric said.

According to him, persons illegally imprisoned by terrorists, soldiers with severe injuries, and children who lost their parents in the war will visit Croatia in 2017.

Ivica Piric has assisted a total of 1,000 Ukrainians to undergo rehabilitation in Croatia.
