Russian doctors have reported of no deviations in the state of health of Ukrainian political prisoner Oleksandr Kolchenko.

Human rights activist from Chelyabinsk Tatyana Shchur wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

As noted, she and several other activists visited Kolchenko in a medical institution where he had been taken over unexplained weight loss recorded by prison employees as early as four months ago. The activists examined his medical record and received comments of doctors saying that Kolchenko's tests showed the absence of any deviations from the norm. They also said there was no reason for Oleksandr to stay in the hospital any longer, adding he had already been discharged and was ready to return to prison.

As previously reported, in August 2015, the North Caucasus military district court sentenced Ukrainian director Oleh Sentsov and activist Oleksandr Kolchenko to 20 and 10 years in prison on terrorism charges.
