Several thousand people-members of the religious procession organized by Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Moscow Patriarchate, and clergy gathered at St. Volodymyr Hill in Kyiv at noon. MPs from Opposition Bloc Nestor Shufrych and Vadym Novinskyi also arrived.

The perimeter of the St. Volodymyr monument is surrounded by a metal fence. The faithful are holding placards with the names of their dioceses from different regions of Ukraine. They are occupying the surrounding territory and singing orthodox prayers. A lot of clergy have also arrived to the spot.

A liturgy led by His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Onufrii was scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
