Interpol has again issued an international warrant for the arrest of former Verkhovna Rada Deputy Yurii Ivaniushchenko (Party of Regions) also known as Yura Yenakievskyi.

Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"Interpol has again issued a warrant for the arrest of Ivaniushchenko and his further extradition to Ukraine (the red notice). I should remind that Ivaniushchenko's lawyers managed to change his status through manipulation by rulings made by the judges with dubious reputation. However, Yura Yenakievskyi has regained his status of the wanted person on the basis of the motion by the Ukrainian Interpol Bureau filed under the revised judgment, made thanks to the efforts of the prosecutor general and the National Police. The status quo has been restored," Avakov wrote.

Ivaniushchenko was removed from the wanted list on April 19, following a decision by infamous judge Chaus (the Dniprovskyi district court of Kyiv).

The Special Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General's Office made attempts to put Ivaniushchenko back on the list, but "the entire composition of the Pechersk district court of Kyiv recused themselves, and the Kyiv Court of Appeal refused to choose another court and returned the case to the Pechersk court.

June 9, High Specialized Court of Ukraine for Civil and Criminal Cases has quashed the decision of the Solomianskyi district court of Kyiv obliging the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) to cease the criminal proceedings filed against former Verkhovna Rada Deputy (Party of Regions) Yurii Ivaniushchenko, also known as Yura Yenakievskyi.
