 Rally in support of "diamond prosecutors" case investigators underway outside PGO. PHOTOS

About 200 people have gathered outside the building of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine on Riznytska Street in Kyiv. They are holding the rally in support of the investigators inquiring into the case of the "diamond prosecutors" as they face dismissal.

The activists of the Democratic Alliance and Automaidan representatives, including one of its leaders during the Revolution of Dignity Serhii Koba, are currently outside the PGO building.

Petro Poroshenko Bloc MPs Mustafa Nayyem and Svitlana Zalishchuk are addressing the activists. The rally participants are holding banners with the inscriptions: "Does Shokіn want to join Pshonka? We'll show him the way to Rostov", "Shokin, go away!" etc.

About two dozen police officers wearing bullet-resistant vests are maintaining order near the PGO building.

People keep arriving at the building. There are also about two dozen camera crews outside the Prosecutor General's Office.

Earlier, Deputy Prosecutor General, Odessa region Prosecutor's Office Head Davit Sakvarelidze said that two members of his team were served a notice of dismissal March 23. According to him, other members of his team continued to be dismissed March 24.

"The rest of our guys who have been directly involved in the inquiry into 'diamond prosecutors' continue being served notices of dismissal one by one," Sakvarelidze said.

Besides, Sakvarelidze reported about searches of the PGO General Inspectorate members who had been served a notice of dismissal. The Prosecutor General's Office denied this information.Источник: https://censor.net.ua/en/p380991
