Russian occupants from the 7th military base in Abkhazia, who participated in the fighting in the Donbas are being massively awarded medals "For military valor."
This is stated by investigative blogger Irakli Komakhidze on InformNapalm, Censor.NET reports.
He writes that starting from spring of 2014 the Russian invaders are being generously rewarded for participation in the hostilities against Ukraine. "Following the occupation of the Crimea everyone knows the medal "For the return of Crimea", the capture of which is recognized by the Russian Federation. But despite the claims of Russian officialdom about that Russian troops not being engaged in the armed conflict in Ukraine, there is a trend of mass awarding of servicemen returning from the "Rostov trainings" or the "Ukrainian travel," the blogger writes.
"Such awarding has been observed in the past year.
"In exceptional cases, Russian soldiers received have been awarded medals "For serious injuries received while performing duty," Komakhidze wrote.
"I wrote about "Ukrainian trips" of soldiers of the 7th Russian occupation military base in Abkhazia (Georgia) at length at the beginning of February 2015. In that post I noted the awarding of the troops that arrived from the Donbas. According to available information, in early February of this year another battalion task force from the 7th military base was sent to a "Ukrainian trip," the blogger writes.
