Intense explosion took place Tuesday night in the heart of Odesa on 36 Zhukovskii Street, where the Euromaidan activist Mark Hordienko’s "Council of Public Security" is situated.

Censor.NET reports citing Dumskaia.

"A car (AZLK 2141"Moskvich") with a Ukrainian flag was damaged as a result of the accident. Its bumper was torn away," the article notes.

The activists noticed the miscreant before the explosion and rushed after him but were unable to catch up the man. The explosion sounded when they returned. Thus, they say, the bandits' plan was foiled.

"They allegedly planned the second explosion - much more powerful than the first one. According to Euromaidan activists, the terrorist has probably planted a firecracker under the car to gather as many onlookers as possible intending to trigger the second explosive device then," the article says.

The police and SBU investigation teams are working at the crime site.
