Poland provided the Ukrainian army with 3.5 million Euros worth of humanitarian aid totaling 252 tons.

This is stated by the press service of the Defense Ministry, Censor.NET reports.

"To meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine [Poland] sent a lot of dry food rations, as well as elements of the military accoutrements: balaclavas, military backpacks, long sleeved waistcoats, gloves, towels, field boots, bags for equipment and the like," the statement reads.

It also stresses that during the anti-terrorist operation the algorithm of delivering such goods from European countries has been greatly simplified, reducing the time of crossing the state border.

The shipment arrives customs cleared, allowing for its immediate unloading.
