Public mass demonstration for Czech President Milos Zeman resignation was held in Prague.

The formal reason for the meeting was the 25th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution that ended communist system in Czechoslovakia. One of the symbols of protest against Zeman's government became red cards, which the demonstrators were raising upward. The phrase 'we do not want to be a colony of Russia,' alluding to the pro-Russian position of the acting president was used as one of the slogans of the protest.

Czech expletive was also used against Zeman which he used to explain one of the meanings of the word "pussy" in English when spoke about Russian punk group Pussy Riot on the radio. Earlier, president of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman suffered another embarrassment - people called him a "Russian cockroach" during his trip to the city of Opava.
