"The Uzhhorod regional court has completed a bail hearing of one of two persons charged with bomb attack on the office of the Hungarian Cultural Association in Uzhhorod on Feb. 27. The court placed Oleksandr Biloborodko, a resident of Kropyvnytskyi, in two-month pretrial custody without bail option. The same court started bail hearing of another suspect Volodymyr Kondratenko," Heirush said.
"Biloborodko is suspected of committing an offense considered as serious or grave crime. ... Therefore, the court granted the request of the investigator and remanded the suspect in custody for 60 days without bail option," Mukachevo.NET news outlet quoted the judge as saying. The suspect turned out to be career serviceman of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who took part in combat operations in Ukraine’s east.
The second suspect, Volodymyr Kondratenko, was brought to the court. His bail hearing is now underway.
