It is reported by Censor.NET citing the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
"Today, August 29, the representatives of the OSCE and the Kyiv Association of Military Attaches inspected weapons and equipment seized during the anti-terrorist operation in the east of the country. They had a chance to witness the samples of weapons and military equipment that were seized from the terrorists, which have no affiliation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the statement says.
Deputy Head of Main department for military cooperation and peacekeeping operations of the General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Andrii Ordynovych demonstrated to foreign representatives that each sample of weapons and equipment has relevant IDs and number. They include date and place of manufacture.
Ministry of Defense noted that for discredit purposes, terrorists use same equipment as used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. However, using the weapons' identification numbers, military experts found that this equipment never accounted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Besides, some of the samples had documents proving that they belonged to the Armed Forces of Russia.
Chairman of Kyiv military attaché association, military attaché of Germany colonel Farchonde noted that international representatives closely observe the situation in Ukraine. He said that terrorists wouldn't have operated in the east of Ukraine without Russian support. He also added that significant assistance from Germany will be directed at medical aid for injured Ukrainian soldiers. Thus, in the near future, injured Ukrainian soldiers will go to Germany for treatment.
