Abandoned militants’ depot of ammunition made in Russia was discovered in academic buildings of Sloviansk College of the National University of Aviation. The ammunition was later deactivated.

Head of the press center of the Main directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region Vladyslav Abdul claims this, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"There were 24 boxes of 37 mm caliber projectiles and more than a hundred empty boxes of ammunition for various weapons (man-portable air defense systems, offensive and defensive grenades, grenades for under barrel grenade launchers, small arms)," Abdul said on Thursday.

He also noted that shipping tickets were found in some boxes. These lists contain information of the ammunition origin, the numbers of Russian military bases and the names of the custodian servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

An informed source said that we are talking about the 726th Air Defense Forces training center of the Russian Federation (Russian military base #33859, city of Yeysk, Krasnodar region) in particular.

The Security Service of Ukraine searches the persons involved in conveyance of these weapons on the territory of Ukraine.
