NACP refers to court 55 reports on tax return-related violations committed by senior officials

As of Nov. 24, 2017, the National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NACP) took to the court 55 administrative offence reports on misrepresentations and untimely submission of income declarations for 2015 and 2016 without valid reasons.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the NACP press office made on Wednesday, Nov. 28.

As noted, 16 of the mentioned reports have been filed over the last two months.

The court received reports into offenses committed by a minister and three deputy ministers; four reports were filed against three MPs, three prosecutors and two judges who violated the Article 172-6 of Ukraine's Administrative Offense Code.

The agency also notes that drawing up a report against a declarant and referring such a report to a court does not indicate commission of an administrative offense by a declarant but is a reason to initiate administrative proceedings.
