The Russian-occupation troops violated the cease-fire in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone seven times today, Nov. 24. The Ukrainian soldiers retaliated against two attacks.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO headquarters press center.

"The enemy several times employed IFV-mounted guns, grenade launchers and small arms against the ATO forces' defenses near Novoluhanske in Luhansk direction. On Svitlodarsk salient, the defenders of Luhanske were fired upon with light infantry weapons.

"In Donetsk direction, the enemy shelled positions near Hnutove with grenade launchers and fired upon defenses on the outskirts of Verkhniotoretske with large-caliber machine guns and small arms. The invaders employed infantry weapons against Ukrainian troops in the vicinity of Marinka. Sniper attacks on our defenders were also recorded in this area.

"The enemy fired upon positions near Kamianka with grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms," the situation report reads.
