The Russian-occupation forces continued breaching truce by committing attacks on positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces using weapons banned by the Minsk agreements.

Censor.NET reports citing the update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) headquarters press center as of Nov. 22, 2017.

"In Luhansk direction, the enemy shelled the Ukrainian troops' positions near Troitske with 120-mm mortars. The ATO forces' strongholds on the outskirts of Katerynivka, Novooleksandrivka and Lobachiove were attacked in the evening. The pro-Russian militants fired upon the positions on the suburbs of Popasna with IFV weapons and large-caliber machine guns. The enemy used small arms to invite retaliation of our defenders near Luhanske.

"In Donetsk direction, the enemy committed mortar strikes in the vicinity of Pavlopil. The illegal armed groups fired upon our defenses on the outskirts of Avdiivka and Kamianka with grenade launchers and light infantry weapons. The enemy committed a total of 12 attacks on Ukrainian troops along the contact line over the past 24-hour period. The Ukrainian military suppressed the invaders' fire nine times using weapons not banned by the Minsk agreements. Two servicemen of the ATO forces were injured in action, another one received a combat trauma," the situation report reads.
