The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) banned Russian actor Fedor Dobronravov from entering Ukraine for three years over his public support for Crimea annexation and visit to the occupied peninsula.

Spokesperson for the SBU Olena Hitlianska said, Censor.NET reports.

"We decided to impose a 3-year entry ban on Russian actor Fedor Dobronravov, who repeatedly visited the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and publicly supported its annexation," she said.

She also advised the organizers of the tour of Russian rapper Basta (the concert is scheduled to be held in Kyiv on Dec. 1) "to urgently request permission of the SBU since no one has canceled the entry ban on this person."

Hitlianska reminded that the SBU was not the only agency authorized to bar entry into the country.

"The border guards made a decision to impose entry ban on Belarusian rapper Korzh after the SBU informed them that he had violated the order of crossing the Ukrainian border," the SBU spokesperson said.

As reported, the bill on tours in Ukraine was endorsed by the Verkhovna Rada on Oct. 5, 2017. President Poroshenko signed it on Nov. 7. The SBU developed regulations for citizens of the aggressor state performing in Ukraine on Nov. 22.
