Police have DNA test results for all those involved in Dyminskyi's car accident, - Kniaziev

Police possess all DNA test results for all those involved in a car accident with a vehicle of businessman Petro Dyminskyi.

This was announced by head of the National Police Serhii Kniaziev at a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing LIGABusinessInform.

He refused to make the DNA test results public, but said the police now possesses all DNA test results for all those who were involved in the car accident. The test results are "serious progress in the criminal investigation," Kniaziev said.

The head of the National Police said Dyminskyi failed to show up for an interview with an investigator three times.

"There is nothing to discuss here. He didn't show up. The documents for his forced delivery were officially presented by the investigator to police that is involved in the case. But we do not have a mechanism for forcibly bringing people from abroad," he said.

On Aug. 18, a Mercedes-Benz S65 collided with an Opel Astra on the Lviv-Krakovets highway near the village of Yamelnia in the Yavoriv district of the Lviv region. Natalia Tril, the 31-year-old driver of the Opel and a resident of one of the villages of the Yavoriv district, died on spot. The police initially said the Mercedes was driven by a 43-year-old Lviv resident.

Stepan Matsevko, a relative of the deceased who reported the tragedy, claims that Dyminskyi himself was behind the wheel of the Mercedes that was accompanied by a Lexus SUV. After the crash, Dyminskyi got into the Lexus and disappeared from the scene, his bodyguard claiming he was driving the car at the moment of the accident.
