"Victory: The Kyiv City Economic Court granted the petition of the Anti-monopoly Committee of Ukraine and the Executive Service of the Ministry of Justice and changed the way of execution of the court ruling regarding the recovery of a fine in amount of 171 billion hryvnia from Gazprom. In simple words, before this, only bank funds of Gazprom could be ordered for collection, and now the collection [of the fine] covers all property of the debtor. As provided by procedures, the ruling should be published in a couple days," the minister said.
In April 2017, the Anti-monopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) requested the Justice Ministry of Ukraine to forcibly recover a penalty of 171,9 billion hryvnia ($6.59 billion) from Russia's Gazprom.
