This was announced by head of the Donetsk regional military and civil administration Pavlo Zhebrivskyi, Censor.NET reports.
The governor of the Donetsk region said 15 residential homes came under artillery fire in Toretsk. The attack lasted for 40 minutes.
"I was told by Yaroslav Rudenko, the head of the military and civil administration of Toretsk, that the attack started at around 2 p.m. Pro-Russian terrorists opened mortar fire from the occupied area - Gagarin mine. The attack lasted for 40 minutes," Zhebrivskyi said.
He said a female resident was wounded in the attack. She was taken to hospital with wounds to her neck and body, her condition being stable.
"A woman born in 1969 was affected: she was wounded in her neck and body. She has had a surgery in Toretsk city hospitals; doctors say her condition is stable," Zhebrivskyi wrote.
