After Russia is recognized aggressor country, only people with specific functions will be able to travel there, - Turchynov

After Ukraine recognizes Russia as the aggressor country, only people performing specific tasks, like spies and scouts, will be able to travel there.

This was announced by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov on Tuesday, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

Answering a question on whether the bill banning state officials from travelling to Russia makes much sense, Turchynov said:

"When this country is recognized the aggressor state, only scouts and spies will travel there. Yes or not? If he's a scout, we'll find a way to send him there. If he's a spy, there's nothing to do... I believe that after it [Russia - ed.] is recognized the aggressor state, only people with specific functions will be able to travel there."

Turchynov also spoke of active operations of the "fifth column" aimed at destabilization of the situation in Ukraine. It takes a form of terrorist activities, among other.

As reported, on Oct. 9 the Verkhovna Rada registered the bill temporarily restricting Ukrainian citizens' right to travel to Russia. The bill provides for temporarily restriction to cover state officials except for diplomats. More exceptions include situations when officials need to travel to Russia for urgent medical treatment or funeral of a relative, if supported with documents. Violation of the provision leads to administrative liability.

The restriction will be in effect as long as Russia is recognized the aggressor country.Источник: https://censor.net.ua/en/n458700
