"I will give you two key figures. The first one: as estimated by scientific expertise that was officially conducted by the Academy of Science of Ukraine, the damage inflicted by Yanukovych regime to the Ukrainian state reached $40 billion. It's a one-year budget of the country... So the $1.5 billion that we were able to return to the state budget through special confiscation bill is just a part of what the criminal group of Yanukovych stole. These funds are being returned under the law, in accordance with court decisions, and they raise questions only among those who used to work in agencies of Kurchenko and Klymenko," the head of the PGO said.
