Warcraft crashed in Khmelnytskyi area, two pilots killed (updated)

A military aircraft crashed today, Sept. 29, some 20-30 kilometers from Khmelnytskyi.

An official from the regional state administration confirmed to UNIAN, Censor.NET reports.

The official said that rescuers and military command from Starokostiantyniv military base, the Khmelnytskyi region, have left for the crash scene.

Investigation is underway. Details of the accident will be reported additionally.

Later, the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Facebook that connection with L-39 aircraft was lost today at 12:21 p.m. during its training flight above Starokostiantyniv.

Two pilots were killed in the crash. The reasons of the crash are so far unknown.
