One Ukrainian fighter wounded in combat yesterday, 15 attacks by Russian troops recorded, - ATO HQ


On Sept. 26, the illegal armed gangs fighting in the Donbas against the government troops violated the cease-fire 15 times.

This was announced by the ATO (anti-terrorist operation) HQ press center on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

The HQ said that in the evening yesterday, the situation in the ATO area did not change much. Russian occupation troops started actively shelling the ATO forces positions after 6 p.m.

In Donetsk direction, militants fired upon Avdiivka suburbs three times using grenade launchers, large caliber machine guns, and small arms.

"Ukrainian defenders retaliated and suppressed the enemy's activity. In this skirmish, one Ukrainian military was wounded at around 6 p.m. He is now treated in a military hospital, his condition satisfactory. In addition, our defenses in Kamianka and Butivka mine came under grenade launcher shelling in the end of the day," the report reads.

In Prymorske direction, the enemy used grenade launchers in Marinka suburbs, large caliber machine guns in Shyrokyne area, and IFV weapon in Hnutove.

In Luhansk direction, pro-Russian militants opened fire two times using small arms in Krymske area.

"A total of 15 cease-fire violations by the illegal armed gangs was recorded yesterday. The ATO fighters retaliated 12 times. One Ukrainian military was wounded in combat," the report reads.
