Prosecutor's office to ask for personal recognizance for Sakvarelidze

After some MPs said they would ask the court to release Davit Sakvarelidze on their bail, Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine (PGO) announced these initiatives are groundless.

Censor.NET reports citing the communications department of PGO.

PGO said that the prosecutor's office intends to ask Halytskyi district court on the hearing that will take place on Sept. 18, at 9:30 a.m. for the mildest measure of restraint - personal recognizance.

After the hearing, Sakvarelidze is invited to give testimony.
