Court collected bail from Poliakov and set new one of 608,000 hryvnia


The Solomianskyi district court of Kyiv has ruled to collect to the state revenue the bail posted by People's Deputy Maksym Poliakov (People's Front) in the amount of 304,000 hryvnia ($11,690), and set a new one for him, in the amount of 608,000 hryvnia.

The ruling was announced by Judge Vladlena Lazorenko, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

"The court ruled to grant the motion partially. The bail of 304,000 hryvnia - to collect to the state revenue. And to apply another bail to Poliakov in a bigger amount. To set a new bail in the amount of 608,000 hryvnia," Lazorenko said.

The new bail is to be posted during five days.

On June 19, NABU detectives detained a bodyguard of Petro Poroshenko Bloc (PPB) MP Boryslav Rozenblat. The bodyguard was carrying a bag with $200,000 in cash. The MP called it a 'provocation.' NABU head Sytnyk announced later that his agency drafted a motion on lifting immunity of people's deputies Boryslav Rozenblat and Maksym Poliakov.
