As reported, Zeitullaiev went on hunger strike April 4, protesting against crackdown on all Crimean Tatars on the peninsula. He also demands to stop criminal proceedings against him and Crimean Tatars Primov, Seifulaiev and Vaitov, and grant the consuls permission to visit him.

Zeitullaiev, Seifulaiev, Vaitov, and Primov earlier received prison terms. Zeitullaiev was sentenced to seven years in prison, but the prosecutors appeal against this decision requesting to increase his term to 17 years.Источник: https://censor.net.ua/en/n449384
