Crimea says Ukrainian authorities prevent Ukrainian tourists from traveling to the occupied peninsula.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by "head of the state committee on ethnic relations and deported citizens of Crimean Republic" Zaur Smirnov to RIA Novosti.

"Kyiv has attempted to organize another blockade of the peninsula, a tourist one this time. Our sources from the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine told us they have received an order from their Kyiv management to create artificial obstacles," he said.

"We are happy to see Ukrainian tourists in Crimea, where all vacationers will enjoy comfortable conditions and guaranteed safety. But the attempt of Kyiv to block the trips of its citizens does not scare us, as long as Crimea does not depend on Ukrainian tourists," Smirnov said.
