As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainski Novyny, this was stated by spokesman for the State Migration Service Serhii Hunko.
"We don't see any decline in the rush so far. In July, it still persists," the official said.
According to him, every day some 20-22,000 people apply for biometric passports.
"Since the beginning of the year, 1.845 million biometric passports for traveling abroad have been issued," Hunko said.
Since June 11, 2017, citizens of Ukraine who possess biometric passports are entitled to visit 30 European countries without visas. Ukrainians are allowed to stay there during 90 days in every six months.
