Law enforcers conducting 183 searches in premises belonging to former minister Klymenko, - Matios


The raids are being conducted within the investigation into a criminal ring of Yanukovych-Klymenko.

This was announced by Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatolii Matios on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"Chief Military Prosecutor's Office together with Defense Department of the National Police and KORD unit are conducting a second wave of raids in the case of the criminal ring of Yanukovych-Klymenko.

"At the moment, 183 searches in premises belonging to former minister Klymenko are being conducted, including in Gulliver business center in Kyiv, several floors of which belong to former minister and his family.

"The work of Radio Vesti reporters, who are part of Klymenko's media holding, and Unison group of companies has not been stopped. Additional and detailed information about the investigation and its results will be presented by Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and me at a briefing later.

"... Much of that stolen will be assessed within the law today. The law of the Ukrainian state," he said.
