NABU detained bodyguard of MP Rozenblat with $200,000 in cash; MP says it's 'provocation'

Yesterday, June 19, officers of National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) detained a bodyguard of Petro Poroshenko Bloc (PPB) MP Boryslav Rozenblat.

The MP wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"Regarding the detention of my bodyguard by NABU. I would like to understand what's going on. I am trying to find it out so far. They accuse him of allegedly receiving $200,000. Someone gave him some bag and told him to give it to me. Then the NABU representatives appeared.

"My position is as follows: this is provocation. And it had been planned for a while. Some people put a lot of effort into discrediting me. First they tried to accuse me of not paying taxes but found no proof; now this.

"We will wait until they clear it up and act within effective legislation. To haters, I want to say that I do not hold on to my people's deputy mandate and believe the justice will prevail. Information that I was questioned in NABU is not true," Rozenblat wrote.
