People's Front MP, adviser to interior minister Anton Herashchenko wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"This morning, assistant director of Ukrspyrt SE Viktor Pankov was shot dead in his back in Pozniaky [area of Kyiv - ed.]. Back in the day, Viktor Pankov himself was a director of this challenging state company that kept getting involved in scandals related to sales of "under-the-counter" spirits.
"Police will investigate all possible versions behind this murder, from personal relations to failing to keep up to his financial commitments. I believe that one of the leading versions to be checked is the version of the murder in relation to Viktor Pankov's job in Ukrspyrt SE.
"My condolences to relatives and the family of the deceased. I believe this contract murder will be solved, and its masterminds, organizers and those who committed it will be fairly punished with life imprisonment. They should not be around with normal people!" Herashchenko wrote.
As reported, in the morning of May 30 an unknown person shot a man and fled the scene in an Audi car. Later it was found that the killed man is former director of Ukrspyrt SE Viktor Pankov.
