The situation in the in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone didn't change much. The pro-Russian hybrid forces are reported to use heavy artillery banned by the Minsk agreements.

Eight Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action over the past 24 hours. On May 27 the militants opened fire against the Armed Forces of Ukraine 49 times using heavy artillery, Censor.NET reports citing ATO Headquarters.

In the Prymorske sector, the militants launched 24 attacks. Ukrainian positions near Pavlopil were shelled with banned 122 mm guns and 82 mm mortars. Ukrainian soldiers at Shyrokyne, Chermalyk, Hnutove, Vodiane, Lebedynske were fired at from grenade launchers and small arms. At the same time, Novotroitske strongholds were fired from large-caliber machine guns and IFV weapons. Marinka defenders were fired from grenade launchers of various systems.

In the Donetsk sector, pro-Russian hybrid forces attacked Ukrainian positions 16 times. The militants shelled Troitske with banned 122 mm guns after midnight. The militants used 120 mm and 82 mm mortars and small arms, firing at suburbs of the town of Avdiivka. Zaitseve strongholds were fired at from IFV weapons.

Nine militants' attacks were reported in the Luhansk sector. Most of the attacks were launched in the evening. Novozvanivka and Novooleksandrivka were shelled with 120 mm mortars at 11 p.m.. Krymske strongholds were fired from 82 mm mortars. The militants fired at Stanytsia Luhanska, Lobacheve, and Donets from grenade launchers and small arms.
