Censor.NET reports citing the PM on Facebook.
"A month ago I announced a transition to the development of digital economy in Ukraine and ordered to draft an implementation plan. Today I present you the draft by the Cabinet of Ministers," Hroisman wrote.
The PM said digital economy is an accelerator of social and economic development in modern world, and is able to rapidly increase the state's GDP.
Hroisman mentioned the examples of the countries such as Estonia, Israel, Ireland, and Sweden, who managed to make a leap in GDP of 12 to 20 percent thanks to implementing the principles of digital economy.
"What am I talking about? Digital economy is implementation of digital rights of citizens, universal digital services, digital workplaces, "digital ambassadors," STEM education. In addition, development of industry 4.0, smart factories, creation of technological and innovation engineering parks. It's blockchain, additive technologies, and artificial intelligence. The plan is very ambitious indeed. But I am certain that we have resources to implement it and make a quality leap in the development of the country," Hroisman said.
