As reported by Censor.NET, regional prosecutor's office told Radio Svoboda.
According to the law enforcement agency, the first-instance court imposed a two-month pre-trial detention on the suspect with the right to post a bail. The Prosecutor's Office of the Dnipropetrovsk region is going to appeal against this decision and is now drafting an appeal against the court's ruling regarding the possibility to release the suspect on bail.
The prosecutor's office confirmed that the first person detained for involvement in VDay riots, the one charged with attack on a member of the regional council, was released on bail.
As reported, on May 9, clashes occurred near the Monument of Glory in Dnipro. After pro-Ukrainian activists demanded to remove political and proscribed insignia - St. George ribbons, communist flags, etc. - a group of young people, who came to the monument together with Opposition Bloc MP Oleksandr Vilkul, attacked the activists and ATO soldiers.
