Dnipro mayor Borys Filatov has informed Prosecutor General Lutsenko about disinformation.

As reported by Censor.NET, Filatov said on Facebook the police have freed seven of the eight young people detained on May 9 for attacking anti-terrorist operation (ATO) participants.

"All the detainees, except the one who beat Regional Council deputy Vladyslav Borodin, are already at large. As of now, only one 'titushka' remains detained," Filatov wrote on Wednesday morning in a comment to a Facebook message by Prosecutor General Lutsenko.

Earlier, Lutsenko reported the detention of eight people involved in the attack.

On May 9, clashes occurred near the Monument of Glory in Dnipro. After pro-Ukrainian activists demanded to remove political and proscribed insignia - St. George ribbons, communist flags, etc. - a group of young people, who came to the monument together with Opposition Bloc MP Oleksandr Vilkul, attacked the activists and ATO soldiers.
