Some 1,000 Donbas fatalities remain unidentified, - Black Tulip mission head Zhylkin

About 1,000 servicemen and civilians killed in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area are still unidentified. Several hundred bodies have been taken to the government-controlled territory while others remain in the separatist-held area of the Donbas.

Censor.NET reports citing Espreso quoting head of the Black Tulip group Yaroslav Zhylkin.

Asked about the number of those unidentified among the killed, he said: "If we use the data voiced by the U.N. mission, the OSCE, and the International Red Cross, plus our data (it's all verified), it's some 1,000 people. Not only the military but civilians who are still registered as missing and unidentified."

Zhylkin noted the number includes several hundred bodies that have been brought to the government-controlled territory of Ukraine and still remain unidentified.
