OSCE's Hug: Use of hardware at May 9 "military parade" in Luhansk violates Minsk accords

The use of heavy military equipment by militants at a "military parade" on May 9, 2017 in occupied Luhansk is in violation of the Minsk agreements.

Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine quoting OSCE's Principal Deputy Chief Monitor Alexander Hug as saying at today's briefing.

"I should confirm that the so-called 'LPR' informed us that they plan to violate the Minsk agreements. As we have already shown in our reports, the presence of such weapons is a violation of the Minsk agreements and this armament should not be there in accordance with the agreements signed by the 'LPR/DPR'," Hug said answering a question about the presence of military equipment at the May 9 parade in occupied Luhansk.

As reported by Information Resistance group, separatists are pulling up military hardware to occupied Donetsk and Luhansk on the pretext of preparing for a "military parade" on the occasion of Victory Day.

"[Militants are redeploying] tube artillery (122 mm and 152 mm), multiple launch rocket systems. Interestingly, troops and equipment that are going to be used at the parade consist mainly of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps of the 'LPR/DPR')," the experts say.
